The Thermi Dam, created in 1993, is the first dam in the area. is located northeast of the settlement of Thermi, 15 km from Thessaloniki. In the area, there is an artificial lake, which is divided into two parts, it has many trees, pines and cypresses, we will meet many different species of birds, such as cormorants, herons and ducks, while there are also amphibious turtles, frogs and snakes. In the area during the summer several important festivals take place. the possibility of hiking 9.3 km towards the mountain, along the stream, starting at the dam and ending 4 km after the Panorama square.
